Principles of Design

This was a conceptual project in college in which we were asked to create a twelve page booklet about the principles of design.

My concept for this design was “modern design aesthetics are clean & elegant, with a generous use of white space. So I would tie that into the cleanliness of artesian soaps”… blah blah blah….

Though this is mostly true, ornate lace and serif type is not modern.

But! The handling of type and composition is defiantly well done for a young designer, so I’m happy to include it as testament to my growth.
